FOR-FREIGHT Final Event at the ALICE Logistics Innovation Summit in Brussels
The FOR-FREIGHT project is proud to announce that its Final Event is taking place as part of the ALICE Logistics Innovation Summit, held on 23–24 October 2025 at the Tangla Hotel in Brussels.
This flagship event brings together logistics innovators, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss how digitalisation, multimodality, and interoperability are transforming Europe’s freight transport ecosystem.
As part of the Summit, FOR-FREIGHT will have a dedicated booth, where the consortium will present the project’s key results, achievements, and innovations. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore how FOR-FREIGHT has advanced the integration of AI, digital twins, and data-driven decision-making for more efficient and sustainable freight logistics.
In addition, FOR-FREIGHT partners will actively contribute to the discussions through their participation in parallel sessions organised by ALICE, showcasing the project’s outcomes and future directions for multimodal logistics:
🔹 23 October, 16:15–17:30 – Parallel Session 2C: “From interfaces to resilience: Future-proofing Europe’s supply chain” – CERTH
🔹 24 October, 09:00–10:10 – Parallel Session 3C: “The multimodal leap: ALICE EXPRESS and integrated logistics” – DHL (tbc)
🔹 24 October, 10:15–11:15 – Parallel Session 4A: “Smart and green ports, connected hubs: Implementing the EU Port Strategy” – Fundación Valenciaport (FVP) and Galati Port (GP)
The Final Event marks an important milestone for the FOR-FREIGHT project, highlighting its contribution to the European logistics innovation ecosystem and its alignment with the goals of the EU Green Deal and Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy.
