Between the 22nd and the 24th of May 2023, our project coordinator from CERTH, Dr. Ayfantopoulou, and our project partners from Beia Consult International attended the ITS European Congress in Lisbon, Portugal, to promote our FOR-FREIGHT project. 

The BEIA partners informed the conference audience about the paper their developed for FOR-FREIGHT and submitted to the the EuCNC & 6G Summit, taking place in June this year. BEIA’s paper refers to “Integrated solution based on innovative digital technologies for smart ports”, emphasising the domains of smart ports, their development, as well as their connection to the FOR-FREIGHT project and the project’s Romanian Use Case (UC), located in the seaport of Galati. 

Both, CERTH and BEIA, joined the event to share, exchange and discuss their perspectives on ITS and smart urban mobility, provided the attendees with information about the FOR-FREIGHT UCs and technologies, and established connections and partnerships within the ITS ecosystem.
